Accounting for management: planning and control was one of the first texts designed for general business majors, as well as accounting majors, to emphasize the usefulness of accounting information to management. The third edition of accounting for management retains the strengths and advantages of earlier editions and incorporates a number of significant changes. Key features: appendixes have been added to several chapters which extend the treatment of certain more technical materials. Materials dealing with financial accounting and funds statements, previously available as a supplement, have been incorporated into the text as an appendix. Additional problems have been added to each chapter. These changes increase the usefulness of the by allowing instructors greater flexibility in tailoring material to the specific requirements of individual classes. Other changes incorporated in the edition are less readily apparent but just as important.
